Let's imagine that you are working on a project which involves using an SQL database. This kind of databases can be used for storing information, users, prices, products and so on. It's important to create and configure the database in the most efficient way possible, because even the slightest error can generate serious errors in the actual application.

In such a situation, you could use the SQL Developer application, a Windows program which allows you to work with any SQL database. After installing and running the program, the user will first need to create an SQL database or import an existing one, using any .sql file. After importing the desired database, its code will be displayed in the main interface of SQL Developer, using various colors. Thus, the user will be able to quickly view all the database queries, statements and so on.

The program is able to detect all the tables contained by a database and can list all of them in the left part of the interface. What's more, the database code can be compiled, so that the user can spot any possible error. All found errors will be displayed in the lower part of the program's interface and each of them will have a suggestion displayed, so that the user can fix it more easily.

SQL Developer can connect with various ODBC database sources and it allows you to work on an online database directly, without having to import the SQL file and then re-export it online.
